Description
We make a difference in people’s lives every day. An organisation that’s owned and run by its members and colleagues, Bron Afon Community Housing manages over 8,000 homes across Torfaen and neighbouring communities, and we’re proud to be more than just a housing provider. We work collaboratively to improve lives, tackle inequality, and create opportunities for people facing disadvantage and exclusion.
We’re currently piloting a 4-day working week, based on the 100–80–100 principle: delivering 100% of the work, in 80% of the time, for 100% of the pay. It’s part of our commitment to innovation, wellbeing, and work-life balance.
We’re looking for an inspirational Chief Executive, with an open and transparent style, who is ambitious for our communities. A commercially minded, transformational business leader, you’ll set a strategic plan for modernisation and growth, whilst staying true to our roots and always putting customers first. Critical to success is your ability to build sustainable strategic partnerships to deliver great services, with the passion and drive to help our communities thrive.
While experience in the social housing sector is not essential, you will bring leadership experience from a regulated, customer-focused environment—ideally one with a large and complex asset base. You may be an aspiring or an established Chief Executive, with the strategic insight and values to lead Bron Afon into its next chapter.
Bron Afon is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified individuals, regardless of disability, race, gender, or other protected characteristics. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please get in touch to discuss how we can best support you.
